Although there are some very nice sites in here… id say about 30-40% of the ones listed in here do not belong on any “top/best” list of any kind.

GlingGo is an excellent site.

Nice sites !

A black (or dark) background may look great if well done.

But hard to read when visiting for a long period… and uses more energy than a light background.
